eyebrow tattoo removal - why do some turn orange?

Ever wonder why eyebrow tattoos turn orange before they are completely removed?

During laser tattoo removal, we break down tattoo pigments. In some cases, the remaining pigments may undergo a chemical reaction resulting in an unexpected orange hue that we refer to as "Salmon Brows" .

Not all colours are equally prone to turning orange after laser removal, however the risk is higher when reds and browns are used due to their chemical composition.
Colours like black and darker shades are generally more stable during the removal process.
The oxidation process can vary from person to person. In some cases, the colour change may become noticeable shortly after laser removal, while in others, it might take weeks or even months.

Although it is frustrating having these colours show, be patient - we’ll get them out!!
